ELOHIM and ELOAH - The Original Hebrew Names of God : Controversial Topic 11


ELOHIM – The Original Hebrew Name of God :
The name God in Hebrew according to the Bible is written in Two – Elohim and Eloah, Elohim is Singular in form but “Plurality in Meaning” and “Eloah” is the Singular Name of “Elohim”.

This topic will clear whatever confusion every one encountered being bible readers and listeners to all preachers from every religion existed in different denominations regarding questions on “How many God there is? Is Christ Jesus also God? There is only One God, and others in related to numbers on how many True God there is?
Let us base our belief and search everything on the first name “God” written in the Bible through Prophet Moses:
ELOHIM - ( Name of God - Singular in Form but Plural in Meaning)

ELOAH - ( Singular name of Elohim ):
I will give an example to understand fully what I am sharing you :
                   “ Man ” (Singular), and “ Men ” (Plural)
Like Elohim ( Plural ) and Eloah ( Singular )
That is just “Basic, Fundamental or Elementary Teaching” to understand clearly what I am sharing you.
The difference and confusion happened and made when these two (2) names Elohim and Eloah translated to different languages like these names but nothing of these names have plurality in form:
Jamaica=Jah
Spanish=Dios
Arabic=Allah
Farsi=Khoda
Romanian=Dumnezeu
French=Dieu
Greek=Theos
Italia=Dio
Finnish=Jumala
Philippines=Diyos (Dios, Maykapal, Bathala)
English/America=God
   WHERE IN THE BIBLE THE NAME ELOHIM IS WRITTEN?

    Genesis 1:1 Amplified Bible (AMP)

   In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth.

        26  “ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness …. ”

    THESE VERSES SHOWS THE EXISTENCE OF GODHEAD WHICH ALSO          SUPPORT BY THE SCRIPTURES IN THE NEW TESTAMENT:

        7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and  the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
